Dr. Jasmine Garcha was born and raised in Chandigarh, India. She attended medical school at Adesh Institute of Medical Sciences & Research in Punjab, India and her postgraduate degree in Public Health focused on Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. Dr. Garcha completed her residency in Family Medicine at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Following her residency, she worked in an acute care setting in multiple hospitals in the Rio Grande Valley as a hospitalist.

Dr. Garcha had an affinity to study human sciences so she decided to become a Physician at a young age. Through medicine, she discovered her purpose of making a meaningful impact. Dr. Garcha finds it extremely rewarding to help her patients achieve their desired health goals.

When not treating patients, Dr. Garcha enjoys spending time outdoors in nature, taking long walks/ hikes with her husband, traveling and spending time with family. A fun fact is that she is a huge foodie and loves trying different food cuisines.
