Braxton Fritz, MD

Dr. Braxton Fritz is originally from Indiana, where he earned his bachelor's degree at Taylor University before attending Indiana University School of Medicine for medical school. He completed his residency training at the Self Regional Family Medicine Residency program in Greenwood, South Carolina. Throughout his career, he has practiced medicine in multiple states, including Indiana, Wisconsin, Wyoming, and Texas.
Dr. Fritz made the decision to pursue a career in medicine during his undergraduate years. While studying abroad in Ecuador, he participated in a curriculum that involved shadowing physicians at a hospital and clinic in Cuenca. Witnessing the significant need for healthcare providers during his time at the regional hospital is when he decided to become a physician. Throughout medical school and residency, Dr. Fritz contributed to the publication of multiple research articles focusing on platelet dysfunction.
Outside of patient care, Dr. Fritz finds joy in spending time with his family and participating in various outdoor activities. A notable aspect of his medical journey includes dedicating an additional year in medical school to focused research, contributing to the publication of multiple research articles on platelet dysfunction.
